Trader Mind Assessment

Your strategy is not usually what costs you the money. The thing you reliably do at the worst moment is.

What it is measuring

Questions built for traders rather than borrowed from a general personality test with tickers pasted over it.

It is looking for the behavior under pressure. What you do when price takes off in your direction without you in the trade. What size you take on the sixth trade of a day that has lost five. Whether you break rules by freezing or by reaching.

What comes back

It is written to be uncomfortable in the useful way. A result that flatters you is one you cannot use.

Every line of it is written as a pattern your answers point to, never as a verdict on you, because forty answers are not enough to diagnose anybody.

Where it honestly stands

It opened on 30 September 2026, and the thing it is careful about is what it is allowed to claim. The scoring has never been tested against a measured population, so it is a structured way to think about your own behavior rather than a finding about you. The results page says exactly that instead of burying it.

What you get
  • 01Forty scenario questions across ten behavioral dimensions
  • 02One of nine archetypes, and the pattern traders with answers like yours often show
  • 03A radar chart showing where your answers scored high and where they scored low
  • 04Your three lowest scoring areas, with what traders often work on in each

The Trader Mind Assessment: forty questions, ten dimensions, nine archetypes, about twenty minutes
1bIt says what it is first: forty questions across ten dimensions, about twenty minutes. Scroll down. Press BEGIN ASSESSMENT.
  2. Step 2. Answer forty questions

Question 1 of 40: you are up 3R on a swing trade and it pulls back 1.5R, with five answers from A to E
2aEach one is a situation traders meet. Tap the answer closest to what you actually do. Your first tap is kept and it moves on, with no going back, so read all five first. Closing the tab starts it over.
  3. Step 3. Read your profile

The score and archetype here are an example, from answers made up for the walk.

The profile: an overall score out of 100, the closest archetype, and what that pattern tends to look like
3aYour overall score, the archetype your answers sit closest to, and what that pattern tends to look like.
The profile map across ten dimensions and a score for each, from emotion to objectivity
3bA map of all ten dimensions, then a score for each one.
Books on these themes, and the note that it is a self reflection tool and your answers never leave your browser
3cIt ends with books on the same themes. Your answers are never sent anywhere and are gone when you close the tab.
  4. Nothing to keep track of

Nothing is saved and there is no account. Take it again any time from this page.
