Most journals are a spreadsheet with a screenshot field bolted on, so the chart is an afterthought and the analysis happens in columns. Chartfolio inverts that. The chart is the record, and everything else hangs off it.

You log the pattern, the timeframe, the rules you followed, the rules you broke, and your state when you pressed the button. Each entry carries a written read taken while the trade is still fresh.
